The weather could be very daunting in some cases, considering the fact that the weather involved tsunamis, hurricanes, etc. One thing Abbey Finnigan liked about the weather was the foggy mornings, the mornings were you could wake up and the sun would just be peaking over the top of the trees and you could see your breath. Often she woke up early in the morning just to experience her favourite weather and most people found this slightly weird but Abbey didn’t care, it was something she enjoyed. She was an early bird so waking up early didn’t really have any effect on her, maybe now and again she’d be grumpier than usual but that was very rare. Quietly she slipped out of bed being careful not to disturb the other hufflepuff girls in the dorm. Abbey pulled up some plain grey tracksuit bottoms, a navy blue hoody and a red gilet, and then she slipped her feet into a pair of uggs and tied her jet black hair back into a ponytail.
Keeping the noise down Abbey made her bed and shoved her wand into her pocket before leaving the girls dorm and common room. It would most likely be cold outside, especially at 5.36 in the morning, but Abbey did like the mornings and you could say she wasn’t your average teenager. Leaving the dungeons she gazed around looking for anyone else that could be up at this hour but it was very unlikely, what moron would get up at this time just to go for a walk in the cold? Oh that’s right, Abbey Finnigan would. Gently she pushed the large oak doors open and was greeted by a breath of fresh air. The cold wind hit her cheeks and instantly the hufflepuff smiled. Lovely morning for a stroll! The sun was starting to come up so she thought it would be a pretty good idea to go down to the black lake.
Abbey walked down the gravel pathway toward the black lake and shoved her hands into her tracksuit bottoms and fiddled with her oak wand in her pocket. If anyone saw her they’d think she was up to something, especially at this time, but that wasn’t the case actually, she just wanted a walk in the cold. It wasn’t normal but Abbey was quite a unique individual and she rarely was seen doing things normal teenagers did, but that didn’t mean she was a freak! Making her way to the lake she stood at the edge and looked at the fog hanging just above the waters surface and watched as the sun rose behind the lake.

Alex moaned as he started wake up by the sound of the alarm by his bed, it was just loud enough for him to hear it and soft enough that it won't wake up the rest of the boys in his dorm. Alex picked u his wand and waved it once and the alarm stopped, Alex had made that alarm by magic and he makes the sound is off when he goes home for the holidays. Alex didn't need an alarm clock at home anyway, since he sleeps in when he has the time of which is either the holidays or the weekends. Alex slowly got up from his bed and got ready to take a walk first before he does any of his prefect duties before breakfast. Alex changed his clothes and put a button down shirt, denim jacket, and blue jeans, since Alex decided to go outside for the walk that he also put on a jacket and boots. The last thing he did was pin the prefect badge to his denim jacket and than zipped up is jacket before leaving his dorm and than the common room. Like Alex had expected, when he reached the common room, that there was no one one there, since it was like five in the morning or something like that.
Alex walked up the stairs from the sub-levels, of which the common room was at in the sub-levels of the castle, just like the Slytherin common room was. Every time he leaves the common room, the sub-levels remind him strongly that four of his siblings are down there in the sub-levels as well. For those half siblings of his were in Slytherin, the house that his father was in, thankfully the hat found him more suitable for hufflepuff, of which was his mother's house. Alex was not cunning, nor did he have any traits of any kind that would made the hat picked him to be in Slytherin instead of Hufflepuff. Alex walked up into the entrance hall and went over to the oak doors of the castle, than pushed them open slightly so that he could go outside and go who knows where. Alex closed the door behind him before he put his hands in his pockets and walked down from the castle and let his feet carry him wherever they want to take him. After a few minutes of walking that he realize that his feet were carrying him to the lake and that someone was already at the lake.
As Alex got closer that he realize that the other person was a fellow Hufflepuff and one that he had meet on the train on his first train ride to Hogwarts, as it happens it was her first train ride to Hogwarts as well. It was Abbey Finnigan, and she was also in her sixth year just like Alex was in his sixth year at Hogwarts. They were close friends and had be since their first train ride together, Alex would admit that he tried to find her when she went shopping for her school supplies in Diagon Alley. after all eh knows that place like the back of his hand, since he lives there and had be living there for as long as eh can remember. Alex did wanted to live in diagon Alley when he leaves Hogwarts and he was planning on working his mother's shop for a while before he works in another shop or own his own shop in Diagon Alley. When Alex was within ear shot of Abbe that he called out to her. "Hey Abbey!"

Abbey would always have her early morning walks, it would simply clear her head and give her time to think about everything in her life. Today she was thinking about, nothing. She had nothing to think about, none of her friends had caused drama, all of her assignments in and her family was okay. So this morning was just a walk to simply wake her up a little bit. She did have lessons later at about eight-thirty and it was roughly around five. It was amazing seeing all the different shades of red, orange and peach rising behind the black lake, even the fog made it look beautiful. It wasn’t very cold but there was defiantly a breeze that could easily cause shivers. Abbey hadn’t expected anyone to be awake until she heard a voice from behind her, simply greeting her.
Turning around she spotted a boy stood behind her, and she smiled when she saw who it was. It was one of her close friends Alex Greyback, they had met in their first year on the trains and had been sorted into the same house. They got along pretty well and Abbey did consider him one of her best friends. She had other friends, like Poppy Longbottom but Abbey and Poppy’s friendship was far greater than her and Alex’s friendship. Poppy was someone she put all her trust in and would spend near enough every single day with. She loved being able to have two close friends, she could easily confine in Alex and trust him not to tell a single soul. Instantly she smiled, “Hey Alex,” Walking over she gave him a quick hug and pulled back shoving her hand into her pockets. “What are you doing up so early?”
ooc; sorry it’s short.

When Abbey saw him that abbey smiled and said hey Alex, than she had walked over to him and hugged and he hugged her back. Alex were best friends, though Alex knows that Abbey and Poppy were much closer than Alex and Abbey were. When she had pulled away that he had ask him of why he was up so early, honestly, Alex had a feeling that they both had similar reasons of being up so early. "I needed to think as well needed to get some fresh before I started the day with my usual rounds. What about you though, why are you up so early?" Since Abbey was out of bed before the curfew, but knowing up as he did, she did some things differently or needed to clear her head. Though Alex guessed that Abbey was enjoying the weather, or just being outside, for Abbey liked going outside at certain times of the day for some reason. Alex figure that this was one of the times that Abbey liked to be outdoors and Alex couldn't blame her for that either, since it was nice outside at the moment, even if it was a little bit chilling.
Of course they were the only two out there at the moment, thinking of it, they didn't had their full chance if talking about their summer holidays of yet. But they had talked about what they hoped would happen in this year at Hogwarts along with a few other things as well. It even included if what they wanted to do after they leave Hogwarts, Alex was taking the classes needed to be an auror. Alex wouldn't mind being an auror, Alex would like to be one, just like he wanted to work at his mother's wand shop and than open his own shop of some kind. Alex didn't mind doing either one of those things at all, honestly if he does become annauror, he would sill live with his mother above the wand shop for Diagon alley was his home. Alex lived in Diagon alley all of his life, till he was of age to go to Hogwarts, now he just spend his holidays there at Diagon alley. "What did you do this summer, I hadn't talked to you about that yet."

Abbey smiled and shoved her hands into her pockets, “Well, I really like mornings. Especially when it’s foggy, I just think it’s beautiful weather and it gives me time to think about things.” Being away from the busy people in the castle made it easier for Abbey to think about everything. That way she could think about which essay to tackle next but since she had no essays due in or anything to think about, she just felt like she should clear her mind and admire the beauty that Mother Nature gave the world. She loved all weather; especially the cold and the perfect day for Abbey would be a day that had plenty of cold and fog.
Turning around she looked at the fog that hung over the lakes surface and watched as the sun began to rise slowly behind the lake. Abbey looked over her shoulder and smiled. “My summer was average, same old same old, just was with my sisters a lot really. Did you do anything amazing over the summer?” The Finnigans had a normal life and never really got up to a lot, apart from quidditch in the garden, luckily they had a small cottage in an isolated area so they could practice whenever they wanted.

Alex smiled and nodded at Abbey said about the mornings, Alex had to agree with her on that point. For Mornings seem to be the best time of the day, for the morning had something to offer each new day in a way and it depends on who it was and what they are doing. There was one thing he was glad of though, despite the fact it was still in his blood, that he was a werewolf, unlike his father. Alex would admit that there are some things that he prefers that are more wolfish, like at times he would eat raw meat. Alex knows that there are some people who find it disgusting and at times Alex does find it disgusting but at other times it tastes good. It was weird, and he knows it but everyone knows he can't help it at times to eat raw meat because of his tainted werewolf blood. For the sake of others, Alex had made sure that he would be by himself whenever eh has raw meat so no one would have to be disgusted by it and as well feel so out of place by doing so. The only time he does in front of anyone was his mother back on top of her wand shop in Diagon alley. Of course, he does eat normal meat and the normal way it is cook and everything.
Honestly, Alex was rather glad of the fact that the hufflepuff common room was near the kitchens on some nights when he gets that urge to eat raw meat, for all he has to do is leave the common room and go into the kitchen. Thankfully the House elves don't mind Alex eating in the kitchen when he has raw meat, besides that, he was glad hr didn't have to turn into a werewolf once a month. that he prefers his side effect of the urge of eating raw meat and get moody the day of and the day after he full moon than turn into a monster one night per month. Btu Alex didn't say anything about eating raw meat to anyone, expect for the headmaster and his head of house, Alex hadn't told abbey of that fact, though some people would guess sit though. Other than nodded and smiled at Abbey, Alex didn't say anything about the morning or anything of her comment about mornings. Than Abbey had told him about her summer vacation, even though Alex has siblings, he was glad that he didn't have to spend summer with his siblings. Alex wouldn't mind his two gryffindor half siblings and spending time with them and it was usually during the school year that he hung around those two siblings.
But the other four were the ones he couldn't stand at all, since they were in Slytherin. At first Alex tried to give them a chance of having a sibling relationship but due to their nature and his nature had made it impossible to do so. "Not really, I basically helped my mother in her wand shop in Diagon Alley or I went walking around Diagon Alley, even though I lived in Diagon my whole life, expect for when I am here, there's always something New I learn about Diagon Alley."

Being the second oldest of her three sisters was quite challenging sometimes, the fact that there were four Finnigan sisters all in different houses was a lot to handle. They did get along fairly well, sometimes they would argue but what siblings didn’t argue? Yeah her younger sister was in Slytherin but they did get on quite well, sometimes, she hardly saw her littler sister but she still felt quiet close to her sisters, especially her youngest sister since they had a lot that they could relate to, being that Hufflepuff’s and Ravenclaw’s were quite academic and she was always sat around doing her essays or something like that, sometimes she studied with her sister which was pretty nice actually.
Abbey knew that Alex had a lot of siblings due to his fathers tendency to sleep around a lot, it wasn’t like it was a secret or anything most people were aware of how many half siblings he had but Abbey never said anything, after all Alex was her best friend so she’d hate to upset him in anyway. “Well, you probably had more fun than I did, arguing with siblings is never pleasant especially if it involves taking sides, but my youngest sister always sides with me. Diagon Alley sounds fun though.” She spoke with a hint of sarcasm and smiled at her friend.

Alex smiled at Abby said abotu Alex having more fun during the summer than she did, since arguing with siblings is never pleasant. Alex could understand what Abbey means that it was never pleasant to fight with your siblings, usually Alex is always fighting with the siblings he has in Slytherin. Abbey also made the comment that Diagon Alley sounds fun of which is was, when Alex was nine years of age was when he had meet his very first half sibling that has the same father as Alex does. Of who was Daniel in Gryffindor. Alex was glad of to have a brother that also lives in Diagon Alley as well, not only that but they had similar thing s n common. Like either one of them wanted to end up like their father, well more in the personality sense than the werewolf sense. Alex would also admit that he doesn't want to become a full werewolf, being tainted with werewolf blood was bad enough. Daniel and Alex were very close to each other, since Alex was nine and denial was eight years of age.
"I am sure it can be hard to have three other siblings and all four of you are in different houses of Hogwarts. What would be odd if two of each of the Greyback siblings were each of the four houses, instead of four being in Slytherin, three in Gryffindor and me being in Hufflepuff. But Diagon Alley is fun, when I was none, one of my brothers from Gryffndor had moved into Diagon above another shop, he's a year younger but we get along and are very close to each other. We hardly ever fought though, of which is a good thing." In some ways, Alex felt glad to at least found he had a brother, when he meet denial, but Alex didn't expect to found out that he has seven siblings and all of them were from one night stands that his father had. It was disturbing in so many ways to know that fact and it was something that he was glad that Abbey and the rest of his friends don't bring u with him. It was a well known fact of who Alex's father was and that he has seven siblings.

Abbey and Alex had always been close, he understood her and she understood him. Since Abbey was timid and pretty much a complete pushover when ever Alex was around he’d always stick up for her and get her out of trouble and she was always grateful for that. Having other people pushing you around all the time was never fun, sometimes her younger sister would tell her fellow Slytherin’s off if they were being to harsh toward Abbey but after six years she had got use to all the fighting and the older Slytherin’s asking Abbey to do all their work for them. She never complained and majority of the time she got their work done and gave it back to them on time.
The sisters fights never lasted long though, they’d normally argue not talk for a week and then make up, it always happened and she was pretty happy that she had her sisters around her, after all they made her happy about who she was and they always stuck up for her since she was the quietest of them all. “Yeah, it can be hard but we always find time to hang out but we’ve all got different personalities so no wonder we’re all in separate houses. I suppose that would be a better but then again the other four probably take after your father..” She didn’t want to offend Alex or anything about talking about his father but it was true, they were in Slytherin for a reason. “Well, at least your close to one sibling.”
