i'm not too sure how close oliver and darla would be. they've a year apart and absolutely nothing in common. still, i'm sure they'd stumble across one another every now and then. i'm leaning more toward friendly acquaintances on this one.

true, darla is a slytherin and ella doesn't typically get along with them, but darla is very kind hearted. unlike many others in her house, she is known for not believing in blood supremacy and furthermore, finds picking on others to instill fear to be absolutely cruel and senseless. both being in the same year, and prefects, they would naturally be together a lot. i could see a little rivalry during quidditch season but generally, they could be pretty good friends.

I think these two could be really good friends, even if they're like a year apart. I guess Ella wouldn't mind her much because Kenzie is less louder and in your face than most her housemates, so I don't know.

I think Oliver and Kenzie could be good/best friends? She's like him, hates Quidditch even if she cheers for her house and is generally a non violent person. She's a little selfish and insecure but I don't think that should come in the way? Maybe she harbors a little crush on Ollie since she's been a little alone ever since her and James broke up?

Corny and Birdella.
The two are on the Quidditch team together so it is obvious they would know each other. When reading about her I actually saw Stephen forgetting her name constantly. He is slightly ADD and would know her name had an avian quality to it, but he would end up calling her Robin, or B.J. (blue jay) or something with a bird-like quality. This could get on her nerves at first, but maybe she grew to just roll her eyes at him and just laugh at his eccentric ways. The two might even turn out to be friends, if she could get past his awkwardness. Ideas?
