- Paracelsus — A male, snowy owl. Named for the wizard who made great improvements to the study of Alchemy, got the name from the “Famous Witch or Wizard” inside a chocolate frog box on the day Paracelsus was bought for her. It was her mother’s idea.
- Hera — A pure white, fluffy female, Norwegian Forest Cat/Kneazle Mix. She is supremely proud, surly, and thinks she’s a queen. It was her superiority complex, for which she was named as “Hera” taken from the queen of the gods in Greek mythology. Hera was a gift that was given to Becca on her twelfth birthday by her grandmother. Hera can usually be found lurking in the loftier areas of the Hufflepuff common room, or on Rebecca’s bed.

PENSIEVE:[/li][li]Waking up and realizing she lost her virginity to her friend's boyfriend.
PERSONALITY OVERVIEW:Becca is firstly, and probably most noticeably talkative. Loquacious is perhaps one of her favorite words, and one of the most fitting to describe Rebecca. Her mother has remarked on more than one occasion, “She’ll talk to a rock if there is no one around just for the sake of talking.” But that’s not entirely true…it was just once, okay?
Moving on, she’s actually considered to be quite popular. And you’d assume someone who is so popular would be rather confident. And in many respects she is quite confident; she knows she’s a capable and hardworking student, she recognizes that she’s actually quite pretty, and such. However, she is quite susceptible to the words of her friends, and in particular her female friends. She holds their opinion in extremely high esteem, to the point where a single bitchy comment could bring her crashing down. She is the ultimate people pleaser, and especially to those who she feels close to.
Becca is a hard worker and she prides herself on being a loyal friend—save for that one incident that she doesn’t like to talk about. She’s almost always surrounded by friends and her sister. She’s an easy person to talk to, and as a result she can become fast friends with people—although, her relatively trusting nature could lead to her being used by someone she had judged to be her friend.

HISTORY OVERVIEW:On a spring morning, Rebecca Lauren Higgs was born to a very proud Terrance and Marietta Higgs. They had been married for two years when they decided that they were both financially stable enough to start a family. The pregnancy was completely planned, and the couple, especially Terrance, was overjoyed to have a little girl.
As the first-born of two only children, Rebecca was doted upon by her relatives. They commented on how vivacious and affectionate she was, and how well behaved the baby girl was. However, this attention was soon to be divided as Marietta found she was pregnant again. They hadn’t intended to have children so close together, but there wasn’t anything that could be done and it was long before Rebecca was joined by a little sister.
Even at a young age, Rebecca delighted in being an older sister. And as the Higgs girls grew, it became evident that they were quite close. They spent nearly every moment with each other, and of course they had their minor squabbles as children are known for, but they usually got along quite well with one another.
Which made it all the harder, when Rebecca’s Hogwart’s letter came. It would mean that the two would be separated by an entire year. And despite their father’s reassurances that ____ would join her elder sister, it still didn’t stop the torrent of tears. But it was something that had to be done, and the year actually served to establish their independent personalities.
Rebecca did well in her first year, and she learned that she could survive without her sister, though the two remained close through letters. And she told her sister about all the neat things she would learn upon her acceptance to the magical boarding school. She encouraged her sister, maintaining that it would be an adventure for them both.
And eventually her sister did attend the school, and the Higgs sisters were reunited. They became known throughout the school as two inseparable sisters, who often hung around the same friend group. It didn’t bother her at all having her sister around (something that puzzled her other friends who couldn’t stand their siblings). In fact, they both thrived in each other’s presence growing into capable, young witches and the best of friends.
This year, Rebecca is focusing on her duties as a prefect, and trying to make it the best year possible.

[/ul]Edward couldn't expect that Maahes would listen to him, he rarely did and especially when he was high or drunk. However, it hadn't gone unnoticed by Edward that he had a certain pull over the boy. Whenever they both happened to be at a party, it was far from uncommon for someone to ask Edward to try and talk to an inebriated and more often than not...high Maahes and try and calm him down if got too sloppy. And that was terrifying, because Maahes had a tolerance for drugs and alcohol that was much higher than the average wizard.
Ed had to restrain himself from laughing at Maathes scathing disapproval of the librarian. He felt a pang of guilt, as the librarian had been quite nice to him and had let him extend loans on books he was still reading long after they were due. A couple of times she had let his late fees slide, because he was usually never late. Once last year he had even gotten into a intense discussion on the writings of Albert Pennyfeather and his theory that Alchemy should be considered under its own branch of magic. Point was, the librarian was really a lovely woman if you got on her good side.
Edward waited for a moment, as Maathes thought about his answer. Conversations were never very direct with Maathes. And it was either a hit or a miss. And sometimes, it was possible that you would go into an entirely new direction. Edward was one of the few people who did not tend to get annoyed with his lack of focus or wit. He was somewhat...well...pathetic, and that was what had initially fascinated him about Maathes.
Now however their connection went a lot deeper. Sure a good portion of it was based on sex. Gods! The sex was good. Great, even. But the boys had developed a bond that went much farther than the physical. He had gained an understanding of Maathes. He was always willing to make time for Maathes, something Nora had not failed to note on several occasions.
The smile widened as Maathes admitted that he had been looking for him. He did not know why it pleased him that Maathes had sought him out. Maybe it was some tangible evidence that he wasn't just imagining the relationship. That even in his high, drunk, or a combination he would almost always come looking for Eddy. Sometimes to talk--though Eddy just generally listened and made small conversation from what he gathered from the Slytherin's ramblings. And other times, other times...he came just for a quick toss.
Before he knew it he was in the bathroom, corner of some hallway, behind a tapestry really raunchy places that Eddy normally would never consent to. Edward liked to think of himself as morally upstanding, and well adjusted individual. However...he just couldn't say no to the moronic...vain...sleazy...sexy...cute...funny Maathes Wood. It was a terrible weakness, his "kryptonite" as the Muggle called it. No matter how many times he said he was going to stop sleeping with Wood it always happened. Time after time. Edward tried not to think about how many times he had facilitated Maathes' cheating...and it was sort of a taboo subject with Edward. Out of sight out of mind. Right? Sorta.
"Well actually only two cigarettes and some dragonweed. I could go for a bit more if you care to join me?"
Edward made a sound in his throat of deep disgust. "No." He said flatly and firmly. He had indulged him a couple times and against his better judgement had smoked dragonweed. It made him feel good, and it usually ended up in sex...which was only heightened by the high, and dizzy feeling induced by the dragonweed. But lately, he had been adamant in his refusal.
"So did you want to talk about something? Or...did you come and find me for that?" He said his voice trailing, and his gaze dropping from the boy. The moral Ravenclaw side of him pleaded and prayed for it to be the former. While the horny, hormonal teenage animal was screaming to be let out of its cage and to rip every stitch of clothing off Maathes.
