Jogging slowly around the rather large track Callie Goddings white, strappy top had began sticking to her pale skin with sweat one lap ago. She enjoed over-working herself and pushing herself to the limit. But most of all she enjoyed being alone to think and the best way for her to be alone was running track with the cold wind on her face.
She had so many thoughts running through her head at that moment in time. She was grateful to have moved to this new school but ungrateful to have to start over again. Truthfully she had been dieing to get away from here since the minute she stepped in the door. Her first thoughts on entering the school and seeing the pupils was "Great, more people to ridicule me.". Don't jump to conclusions, Callie had always been fond about the beauty of Hallows Edge, she just hated making new friends as she found it extremely challenging. The people she became friends with would have to be patient.
Many times before she had burst into a cold sweat, stuttered and even puked when introducing herself to new people she considered to be higher 'ranking' than herself. She had always had an extremely low confidence level and hardly had any belief in herself, believing the only thing she was genuinly good at was track.
The wost thing for her was that every since she joined this new school, none of the students had even bothered greeting her. She didn't want to get upset over it, but she felt more alone than ever, not even being able to phone her mother due to having no credit in her phone. She had been in some pretty dark places in her life, but this was one of the darkest. but she believed it just made her come out stronger the other side.
Callie reached up and tucked her violet hair out of her face to behind her ear, but it still took shape and flowed around her pale blushing cheeks once again to her annoyance. She had completed three laps already but was determined to complete another two before heading off to bed. Stopping beside the stands, she bent over, picking up her favourite blue, plastic water bottle and drank the remains from it. But Callie loved helping people, She loved how she could have a positive impact on someone’s life.
"Three down, two to go.". She muttered to herself as much as the tiny voice inside of her head protested.
