celia took one last look in the mirror, content with her appearance. after a grueling four hours, she finally looked perfect. if only she had a date that would notice her perfection as well. celia sighed, glad that most of her roommates had left already. lia walked over to her bed and grabbed her clutch before leaving her common room. her dress didn't help her much with the cold of the dungeon. she walked as fast as she could to where the dance was going to take place. there were dozens of students crowded in front of the door, anxiously waiting their dates or forcing their friends to lead the way. celia would have been a part of a group if she hadn't been so stubborn and sure that she was going to go with someone. boys asked her, but none were good enough to take her to the dance. celia still held hope that someone would sweep her off her feet at the dance.
anyways, celia walked in, glad to get stares from many people. she didn't have an over-the-top outfit, sticking to a black silk mask that covered her face. she walked past the dancing people and made her way to the table with the drinks. she noticed that there were many people without couples just staring at the couples on the dance floor. celia found it quite pathetic though she did know how they felt. still, she didn't think they should just show how lonely they are. that was problem what made them date-less in the first place. celia grabbed some pumpkin juice, taking a small sip. the dance wasn't as crazy as she thought it would be, but it was still early. celia looked around, hoping someone would invite her to dance. she moved along with the music, not caring who was staring at her. celia knew that she was hot, so to her everyone else just wished they could move like her.
celia continued drinking, and moving, without noticing that someone was approaching her.
