The rain was getting heavier now, splashing down in great flurries of sprinkled water. Watching as a single droplet had came rushing down, flying in all directions before finally coming to settle on the glass, crashing into the other droplets that had smashed against the window. The young girl had watched from the the sixth floor as the rain had pelted down, soaking the students who'd roamed outside the castle but it hadn't taken much to have them all sprinting back to the castle. She turned her attention back to what lay in front of her. Light began to creep slowly behind the tall army of trees, reflecting off the snow and making it glisten with a blinding whiteness one last time. Sighing, Adora had turned her attention back to the friends who'd stood beside her without a word being spilt from their lips, "Be on your way. I'll catch up with you at dinner." It had been the first words she had spoken all morning to the girsl, 'Are you sure?' was the only response Adora had managed to register and the only response she'd managed to give the nod of her head and quick glare thrown over her shoulder.
Hogwarts still remained the same as she had once remembered it all those years ago when she'd been a hopeless first year and laid her first glance on the castle. It had been a magical moment, one she would treasure for a long time. Ever since that day, every time her eyes fell on the castle it had felt like the first time all over again. It was her home and always would be. Home sweet home, most definitely. The smirk had remained glued to her lips as she had made a sharp turn and strolled down the corridor with all eyes on her, the young girls eyeing her with envy and the reckless teenage boys devouring her with their eyes. Just like it had always been since she'd been in her fourth year, but she had brushed the looks off and continued her journey to throughout the castle. As she took one step infront of the other, Adora couldn't help but let her thoughts get the best of her. It wouldn't be long until she had finally left Hogwarts. It had been a disturbing thought but nevertheless true and she'd have to learn to plan out the future. One day she'd remember Hogwarts as being a nest which she had finally flown away from.
Carelessly pushing a helpless first year out of the way, Adora's lip curled in disgust, her eyes taking in the small form that seemed to be drowned in it's Hufflepuff robes, “This is my final warning to you, get out and stay out of my way, got that?” Her tone was as cold as the temperature outside, she could have frozen hell over if she wished but instead Adora and sneered and continued with her journey. Where was she going? Where every Slytherin had went during their free time – the common room.
The door had swung open in an instant as Adora had stepped into the room, many heads turning in her direction to acknowledge her as she took a seat on the black leather couch and crossing one slender leg over the other, a small smirk occupying her lips as her eyes played with the burning flames in front of her that erupted from the fireplace. Quickly falling into her own world of thoughts.

The past week had dragged on and it had drained all energy out of the young blonde male who lay tangled up in his emerald green bed sheets. A low groan fell from his lips as the curtain was pulled open slightly and formed a streak of light that shone on his pale face. Grey eyes flickered open and he looked up at the culprit who was already making a quick escape from the boy’s dorm when he noticed a few Slytherin’s were still in bed. There were a few more groans and the light caused a few Slytherin’s to get out of their pit and get ready but Scorpius Malfoy decided five more minutes wouldn’t hurt. Her rolled himself over and pulled the bed sheet over his head to stop the light from getting in and waking him up. The sound of fellow Slytherin’s stumbling past the end of his bed kept him from falling asleep and he felt a slight drowsiness fall over him as he began to wake up again.
Scorpius didn’t want to get up yet, the weather outside made his bed seemed far more comfortable than it had been last night. The cold crept in through the small cracks of the sheet and hit his exposed skin which was when he decided it was time to get up. A moan escaped from his lips and he threw the bed sheets toward the end of his bed and sat up scratching his neck and stretched his legs out. God he was tired, all the commotion had kept him awake though and he couldn’t make himself fall asleep. Scorpius got up and ran a hand through his hair before he walked over to his trunk and looked through it for some casual muggle clothes but all he could find was those silly smart shirts his father had packed for him. “Dammit..” The blonde continued to search through his trunk until he pulled out a pair of jogger jeans that he threw lazily onto the bed and a V-neck t-shirt that joined his jeans on the bed. The lid of his trunk slammed shut and he walked around to the side of his bed.
Very muggle, yet casual and he liked comfortable casual wear his father on the other hand always wanted him to wear those expensive suits and Scorpius never did look good in a suit, although he did scrub up well if needed. He pulled up his baggy jogger jeans and pulled his t-shirt over his head and ruffled his hair. Looking around in the mirror he fiddled with his hair that rested on his forehead and smirked to himself. Maybe he should go to breakfast with the other Slytherin’s? Well, he wasn’t really that hungry so he’d probably go sit in the common room for a bit before he decided to go get some breakfast. Before he left he slipped on his boots and shoved his wand into his front pocket before he left the boy’s dorm.
The common room was slightly empty there were one or two fifth years in the corner of the room, gossiping about from what he could hear the Gryffindor boys. There was a third year studying and then he spotted someone in his year and he smiled slightly. Adora Flint was sat down on the black leather couch and he sat himself down next to the female blonde. There was no doubt that Scorpius had a thing for Adora and from what rumours he had heard she had the same feeling but it was just a rumour. “You alright?”
