”Alike enough to be my – I don't want that image in my head,” his friend said with the most disgusted look Stefan had seen. Stefan laughed hard at his friends words. He had to agree, if Nick had spoke of that about him and Mila than he would have been just as disgusted but he thought it was quite funny.
”Danni knows better than to think we don't know who's good for us. I'm sure she didn't. But if she did,” he heard his friend speak with a very serious look on his face, ”then in my eyes, I'll only have one sister.” Stefan knew how Nick was, very unforgiving, Stefan was pretty good about that where he was a guy who would forgive someone fairly easily, even for something like that. Sure he had a temper and if Danni had anything to do with it he would probably tell her off but he wouldn't hold it against her. He looked down the table at his friends younger sister and sighed. ”I love Danni and you know that but sometimes I wonder, I mean she shouldn't have a problem with someone like Darla but as for Dominique I believe she especially wouldn't like Dominique for being a Weasley, most of the Slytherin's thought that I was off my rocker for being with her,” he said he wouldn't have put it past anyone after discovering who it was. Danni was known for her blood purist ideas and he especially wouldn't put it past her with that in mind.
”Blood, why else would someone start a rumor, you know what makes me more mad than anything else about it being a rumor, is the fact that it is my choice, not whoever started it, but I'm ready to find out,” he said seriously. He wasn't going to allow any stone unturned, he would find out who had what to do with it and he was ready for that. He sighed softly and grabbed a cold piece of toast and took a bite or more of a rip from that point.

"I know. I was there, remember?" Nick admitted, annoyed as he remembered the day his friend had gone public with his and Dom's relationship. It had been reacted to violently in the dorms, people calling him things like blood-traitor behind his back and Nick had ignored most of it. He himself had been raised to believe it and, he'll admit, he was skeptical about Dominique's character. In fact, if it had been any other Slytherin, he'd have thought the same way as the others, but this was Stefan and he trusted his judgment.
"And if you really put it that way, I can see what you mean," he said, letting his brain try and work out what had actually happened. "And I'm on this with you," he added, letting him know he'd do everything he could to to figure out what had been amiss in the whole drama which had unfolded. He swore, when he found out, he wouldn't leave them alive. But the problem was, what if it was somebody whom he trusted or loved? Then what? He couldn't hurt them but he'd lose them forever and deep down he hoped Cathy or Nick didn't have a go in any of this.
"Who're you taking to the Halloween ball?" he asked, a little lost in his thoughts as he thought of how the day was getting closer and closer. He still hadn't decided what he wanted to go as but he knew it would be different from the previous year's Grim Reaper look he'd gone with. It had been Darla's idea, something she'd read of and he'd agreed. But this year he was contemplating between vampire and devil. He still couldn't decide, but he didn't care really, because he had bigger things on his mind. "I'm going to end things on that night,"he told Stefan.

Stefan nodded he remembered that day. He himself had been called a blood-traitor for who he had been dating. Stefan didn't care about the blood statuses as much as some of the Slytherins. His father was Viktor Krum and had been known to have spent time with Harry Potter as well as him fancying the muggleborn Hermione Granger who was Dominique's aunt. Stefan had been taught to treat everyone equal but he had dealt with the blood status ideas on a daily basis. Sometimes he did wonder why he was sorted into Slytherin, sure he was interested in the Dark Arts and what not but he had truly wondered sometimes.
”Let us not think about Danni or Cathy having a part to do with this, I mean even if they did, they did, I can't change what happened, besides everything had to fall into place, I had to react to the rumor so it is partly my own fault for believing such a thing,” he said. No matter what he said he still had to know who caused it. ”I've still gotta know though, and I'm not going to be happy because they still did it but again I cannot change it,” he told his friend.
Stefan shrugged, ”no idea, last year I would have thought I would be going with Dominique, now I'm not really all that sure I'm going to go in all truth, I wouldn't even know what to go as,” he said. He thought there for moments about the Halloween Ball. Was there anyone to go with? Stefan shrugged it off as his friend spoke about ending it with Darla that night. ”Seriously?” he asked his eyebrows raised, ”gonna give her a great night and than stop it there? Be careful who knows how she'll take it,” he told him. He would never have done that though breaking up with a girl while she's happy than ruining it in front of the school might be a better thing to do with the start.
