Dylan looked at her. He didn't blame her for being jealous. It was a natural instinct for most in a relationship, at least if they really wanted to be in said relationship. She was protecting what was hers. He smiled softly as she spoke to him. ”I'm just scared that I might lose you to someone better or push you away with my overbearing behavior.” He shook his head. ”Someone better? Who is better than you Isabella?” he asked stopping them in their tracks. He looked at her seriously. ”Don't worry about it, because I would never had said yes if I thought you would push me away or I would go choose someone else,” he told her. He pulled her into a hug and wanted her to know how serious he was.
”Just promise me you'll be careful, or I can just wrap you in bubble wrap,” he laughed as she said the words. ”You'd wrap me in that muggle stuff instead of putting a charm on me to protect me?” he asked her with a big grin. He understood where she was coming from but the only thing that he could do was live his life the way it was meant to be lived. ”I've broken bones and haven't noticed, I've been seriously injured before, I'm okay, it just takes me longer to notice, I promise you I will be as careful as I can but I'm not going to stay at home all the time and not live life, if I get hurt I get hurt, but I will do my best not to,” he told her softly. One of the worst things about his CIP was that he could not feel warning signs when they were there. He'd never known what pain felt like and sometimes wished he could feel it all the time.
Fighting on her behalf would be fine with him. He would be able to outlast the other guy and he knew it because he didn't black out from pain or anything. He looked at her as she told him no fighting because she didn't want to spend evenings in the Hospital Wing. ”Chances are if I got into a fight, I don't think the Hospital Wing would work, I think it would be more like St. Mungo's for me,” he told her truthfully, but being Dylan made it sound like a joke. He always tried to make things seem like fun and to try and cheer people up.

Being in a relationship could be tough at times but those tough times would always make the relationship stronger, she couldn’t guarantee that they wouldn’t argue but she knew that they could easily overcome the future arguments, most couples did so why didn’t they. The only way a couple would last was if they were brave enough to keep fighting for one another, and Isabella Davies would be as brave as she could to keep her boyfriend. The brunette shrugged her shoulders and smiled sheepishly, “There are far better girls than me in the castle, if you looked hard enough you’d most likely find one.” Sure she had a lot of attention from the opposite sex in the past but she never understood why, there were better looking girls around, so why her? Isabella smiled as he pulled her into a hug and she wrapped her arms around his waist and squeezed slightly.
“I’d try everything to try and make you safe,” It was probably corny but it was true, she’d do everything she could to help him, protect him because that what couples and friends did. Maybe bubble wrap wasn’t the best thing to use but it was the first thing that popped into her head on how to protect him and make sure he was okay. “I know but, I would just hate to see you get hurt even if you couldn’t feel anything.” She shrugged her shoulders and smiled slightly still looking at him with her dark brown eyes.
Even though he was joking about St. Mungo’s she made a serious face and shook her head, “Don’t even joke about that sort of thing Dyl,”

”There are far better girls than me in the castle, if you looked hard enough you'd most likely find one,” he heard her say. Was she trying to sell him on other girls? He wondered if she didn't believe that she was the best girl for him in the castle. He shook his head at her words and smiled a very sure smile, ”Miss Isabella Davies, I promise you that maybe for some other guy there are far better girls in this castle, but for me you are the best of the best.” He wanted to understand that he wasn't going to go around and look at other girls the way he looked at her for so long.
”I'd try everything to make you safe.” He was sure she would. Was there a way to make someone absolutely safe? If there was Dylan would be the first in line. He understood why she worried but he wasn't going to just stop because she was worried. He smiled and kissed her lips gently before speaking, ”would you like to hire someone to follow me everywhere in case I were to get injured that way they might see if before I do?” It had been just a joke but at the same time not a bad idea. Being hurt was something that was difficult for Dylan, sure he could not feel it, that was a plus but he also did not know if he was hurt and typically it would end up in nastier forms than a scrape. His blue eyes met her brown and he smiled holding her close. ”Besides I should be doing the protecting not you, so don't worry about me too much,” he told her.
When he joked about St. Mungo's Isabella didn't seem to find it as a joke. ”I have to, you know that, if I took my condition seriously all the time I would probably be sitting in my dorm only to leave for classes, or wrapped in bubble wrap,” he told her. He really did have to joke about it. He also felt that when he wasn't joking about it than he was down and serious, Dylan didn't like to be down and serious one bit. He liked to be where he was and being happy and joking around.

Maybe Brielle was right, they were pretty much perfect for each other. It was obvious he’d be the fun partner in the relationship and Isabella would worry about his safety and be the serious one. When she left the common room earlier she would have never dreamed that they would of started dating while on their prefect duties, she could dream it but not actually believe it, and now she could! A smiled formed on the brunette’s lips, “In that case, you are perfect for me. Brielle seems to think your perfect for me and I would have to agree with her,” Isabella loved her best friends deeply and she knew that they all approved of Dylan, well that’s what they told her when she’d constantly talk about him during dinner or lunch when she’d sit with them. Since she had someone to go to the dance with, it was time to find Brielle someone to go with.
When he talked about her hiring someone to follow him around she smiled, that wasn’t a bad idea but she didn’t have the money to hire someone to follow him and that would be very creepy. Imagine having someone following you around? It just isn’t right, and everyone has lives. “That isn’t a bad idea, I think I might keep that in mind.” She replied and smiled slightly, of course she was joking. Isabella laughed and shook her head, “Hey, I can be protective too!” It was normal to worry about your partners safety and the last thing she wanted was to lose him.
Isabella knew he had a life but even tripping over something could cause damage and she didn’t want to be sat down in the Hospital wing looking after him if he broke a toe or something, “Bubble wrap could work..” She laughed slightly, bubble wrap would do the world of good for him but it would look slightly odd.

The day Dylan never thought would come had arrived. He was looking at the girl he had wanted to be with for such a long time. A crush had finally developed into the right place. The bright blue eyes watched the girl he now declared his girlfriend as she spoke. She told him that he was perfect for her and that her friend Brielle seemed to agree. He liked Brielle, they had become friends through Isabella and Dylan wouldn't say that she wasn't a bad friend. He liked the girl, she was nice and honest and very caring to her friends. ”Well I'm glad that Brielle seems to think I'm perfect for you, because that's how I feel about you, you're are the perfect girl for me,” he said softly.
Dylan's eyes widened as she seemed to enjoy the idea he spoke of and he shook his head. ”Even though I suggested it it's almost stalkerish of that person even if hired, I'd rather get injured in all truth,” he laughed. Dylan liked to joke which meant he also liked to laugh and to say the least he loved it when other people laughed, especially the female who stood next to him in the corridor.
The blond hair shook as Dylan shook his head. ”Nope, I refused to let you be protective, it's my job,” he grinned from ear to ear. He than laughed. ”Aww I guess you can do a little protecting,” he laughed and kissed her cheek. He was just playing the gender rolls in a little heart felt fun. He was enjoying her company at the moment even if she was worrying sometimes.
”Bubble wrap could work...” he heard her tell him. He also heard her laugh slightly and he did. ”How about this, I'll try anything to make you not worry about me,” he told her. He didn't really want to but he would never mind trying something to make her happy. That was what a relationship was about, right?

Isabella remembered first meeting Dylan Entwhistle, they had been in the great hall awaiting to be sorted and she watched him walk up to the stool and heard him get sorted into Ravenclaw, and straight after she was called up and sorted into Ravenclaw. They sat next to each other at the Ravenclaw table and introduced each other and from that day they had got on very well and she found him really interesting. Having two younger brothers join her in Ravenclaw gave her an excuse to keep an eye on him and she had always been rather protective over her younger siblings and close personal friends. Even though her brothers were younger than her they seemed quite protective over her, even though she could take care of herself.
Hopefully her family would approve of Dylan, if he friends found the relationship cute then she was sure her little sister would but then again her brothers might not be best pleased with their older sisters’ new relationship, “Well, I have to say you are pretty much perfect for me and I generally think we could last a long time.” Maybe it was a little bit soppy but it was the truth and she was glad that she was finally with Dylan after liking him for such a long time.
“Okay, maybe hiring someone to follow you around isn’t a good idea but I’d like you to be safe and not injured or anything like that.” She smiled coyly and looked around for any students that were hiding in the shadows or trying to sneak past the love birds. When he commented on her being protective she cocked a eyebrow, “I will be protective whether you like it or not! My little Dylan,” She grabbed hold of her cheek lightly like you would to a baby and laughed.
A small smiled spread across he lips and she looked at him with a twinkle in her eye, “Bubble wrap it is!” Of course she was joking, he could do what he wanted it didn’t concern her, well it did but she wasn’t going to interfere with his life just because she was worried.

Dylan thought a little about his sister and what she would think about his dating Isabella Davies, he was pretty sure she would be okay with it. He didn't truly know but he knew it was his choice and with someone as protective as Isabella he was sure his family would have no problem with her. ”Yes, lasting a long time would definitely be something I believe too,” he told her with a smile.
”It's a good idea if you like stalkerish things,” he laughed. Dylan couldn't help but joke about his CIP. He enjoyed joking about most things to begin with and he was happy that she could understand his jokes. ”I will be protective whether you like it or not! My little Dylan,” he heard before his cheek was grabbed lightly. He had never understood the hated part of that, people said it hurt when someone would pinch your cheek but Dylan could never feel it there for he didn't mind when people did it. ”Well my little Isabella,” he started and grabbed her own cheeks lightly. That was one thing he had to learn was how not to hurt people since he didn't understand what it was like to be hurt. ”I will let you be protective, but I won't like it,” he finished and let go of her cheeks.
He laughed about the bubble wrap and than grinned. ”When I go home for Christmas I think I'll see if I can find a muggle person who can make a bubble wrap suit for me,” he told her with wide eyes. He was joking but he was also serious. He could find someone to do it, and than he could return back from holiday and show her proof that he could protect himself. He thought of this has hilarious but he wasn't about to tell her.

Thankfully Isabella had three younger siblings; one thing she knew was her two younger brothers’ probably wouldn’t be pleased about her new relationship status even if she was happy. That didn’t matter though it was her choice and if she wanted to start dating then she would, she was pretty sure her mother would be over the moon and insist she invited him over for dinner, but her father on the other hand probably would be to happy about his daughter having a relationship but she was eighteen so she could do what she wanted. “I’d say we lasted till after out seventh year, or longer.” Once they both left Hogwarts she wasn’t sure if she’d ever see him again, they lived at least three hours away from each other tops. Although she was sure she could evaporate to go see him now and again.
When he grabbed her cheeks she backed away slightly but smiled, she hated it when adults did that. One it hurt and two it made her feel like a child and she wasn’t a child, she had grown up and pinching cheeks reminded her of when she was younger around her mothers friends, they’d constantly coo over Isabella and it irritated her a lot. “Don’t pinch my cheeks,” She stated in a serious tone before she smiled gently, “I will always be protective of you, even if you don’t like it.” Lightly she kissed him on the cheek, “Need to make sure you’re safe.”
A small laugh escaped her lips and she shook her head, “Oh you do make me laugh Dylan, but I’m sure the muggle will charge you for making a suit made out of bubble wrap.” She smiled and started to imagine him in a bubble wrap suit, it would be quite amusing for her but then again she’d probably still worry for his safety.
