She gave a small chuckle at his light sarcastic comment. she shook her head amused. She gave a small laugh and shook her head when he mentioned her wanting him to list off her redeeming factors. "What, no I didn't mean it in that way. I don't have a need to hear you rave about everything that you like about me. I was just honestly curious." she said with a shrug even though it was sort of a lie. But she didn't want him to know the truth about her insecurities. It was something she liked to hide, like most things about her.
But she had to admit, hearing him say the things he liked about her felt amazing. She had never been called attractive, just adorable and cute. Not many people knew her well enough to call her funny. She never even tried to be funny, was she even funny? She couldn't deny her intellegence or the fact that despite their family history and such they got along very well. Bri was definately glad she stood up to him her first year by each passing second. Otherwise none of this would be happening. She decided to keep quiet about some other girls for the moment not wanting to place any other ideas into his head.
Then he asked her the same question. "Hmm... well let's see. Believe it or not Tai, you are an attractive young man. You always know exactly what you want and i like your deterimination. You are probably one of the nicest guys to me. You are intellegent and one of the only guys I feel comfortable to be myself around." she said with a smile. She didn't have many guy friends she was close to so it was no wonder she fell for one of them. "Plus I may have had a crush on you for a little while." she said softly with a small smile.

Tyson smiled as Brielle shook her head, all her body language pointed towards positive emotions such as joy and excitement, it was rather cute how she couldn't conceal them too well, but then Tyson was no better. "Well, we all like a good ego stroking on occasion." Tyson chuckled in jest as Brielle admitted to being curious about hi thoughts about her. It was part of the human condition and Tyson himself had been submitting to the same thing when he directed the question back at her.
It was a rather flattering experience being told all the things people liked about you, especially from an attractive girl. Being told he was attractive made Tyson tingle slightly red, he had always lacked the confidence in the area of social interaction to accept things as red, that would just be too egotistical for him to stomach. His intelligence only came from his hard work, as Bri herself would appropriate, but it was still nice to be told so by someone else. As for being nice to her, he tried to be nice to everyone but he'd be lying if he said he hadn't singled her our for extra attention.
As she mentioned having a crush on him, Tyson attempted to hide his smile, he thought he had left these sorts of romantic antics behind in the lower years but Brielle seemed to have rejuvenated them. "I've had similar feelings for some time, but its been hard to interpret them." Tyson mused with a smile, the feeling was obviously mutual.

Bri smiled and it was true. It was unbelievable about how many people loved to hear good things about themselves from other people. But she wondered if asking for it made it the same as just recieving it unasked for. She thought back on what she said and wondered if it seemed that she was prying for attention and wanted something to raise her ego. Ha! her ego, that thing barely even existed. It was smaller than a peanut, not the big peanuts but the insides of them that you ate and tasted really good.
She noticed him also get a bit red. At least that was something they both shared. She wondered how much confidence he had with himself. The way he led the Quidditch team and the stature he had around other people would make them think he had barely any insecurities. That he was just a normal guy. She was positive he wasn't an ego-maniac like a few people she tolerated.
She smiled upon realization that the feeling was mutual. No one would ever know how much relief she felt at that moment. But suddenly she was brought into reality and the fact she had prefect duties. "It is getting a bit late and I don't want to get in trouble for slacking on my duties." she said as she gathered her stuff. "A word of advice, you should head back before you get caught by someone not as merciful as me and they give you detention." she suggested as she took a small step closer to him. She gently kissed his lips and seperated with a shy smile. "Just wanted to help you interpret your feelings." she said quoting what he said with a light blush and a smile. She started to turn her back and walk out to continue her duties.
